About AI Governance Advisors (AIGA)

The people behind every AI decision, with the evidence behind it.

Who We Are

AI Governance Advisors (AIGA) is a senior-led, platform-neutral AI Readiness and Responsible Decision Advisory. AIGA helps U.S. insurance MGAs and MGUs, defense contractors, law firms, private equity and venture capital firms, and companies facing AI insurability questions make accountable AI decisions and keep usable evidence.

AIGA was founded by Suzanne DiCicco and Todd Dietrich, its two co-founding principals, who scope and deliver every engagement themselves. Our work is aligned to leading frameworks such as the NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001, and to the rules that apply in each market, such as the EU AI Act, CMMC and ABA guidance.

Who We Serve

We work with regulated and high-consequence mid-market organizations at the moment an AI decision has real stakes:

  • MGAs & MGUs that are bringing in AI underwriting, claims, or fraud vendors and need evidence their carriers and capacity providers will accept.
  • Defense contractors whose AI tools may touch CUI and who face CMMC, DFARS, or prime contractor questions.
  • Companies facing AI insurability questions on E&O, cyber, or D&O applications and renewals, often referred by their broker or MGA.
  • Law firms rolling out AI that need matter-data rules, answers to client questionnaires, and court-safe verification.

What Sets Our Approach Apart

One method, applied to your decision.
Every engagement follows the same four steps.

  1. We inventory the AI uses, vendors, data, and workflows you actually have.
  1. We classify each by exposure and risk tier.
  1. We help leadership decide what may proceed, under what conditions, and on whose authority.
  1. Then we leave you the evidence, a record of what was reviewed, decided, and controlled, ready for a carrier, regulator, client, court, LP, or board.

Senior-led.
Both principals scope and deliver every engagement.

Platform-neutral.
We don't sell or push software. Our advice fits the tools you already use or are choosing.

Clear boundaries.
We don't provide legal advice, audits, certification, assurance, security testing, actuarial work or model validation, and we coordinate with the specialists who do.

Fixed scope, usable outputs.
You get named deliverables like decision memos, registers, and evidence packs, not open-ended hours.

Team Bios

AIGA is led by two co-founding principals, each with over 25 years of experience across information governance, data, risk, and compliance. Both scope and deliver every engagement, so the people you meet are the people who do the work.

Suzanne DiCicco, IGP, CIGO, CIGO/AI

Co-Founder and Principal

Suzanne has over 25 years in global financial services, including more than 15 years in information governance and risk. She turns complex information and AI risk into clear, enterprise-ready governance that lets organizations adopt AI with accountability.

At a global financial services firm, Suzanne built an information governance program from the ground up, designing data lifecycle controls, enterprise policy, and cross-functional operating models across multiple business lines. She was also a founding member of that firm's AI Governance Program, helping set up responsible AI oversight and practical guardrails that supported adoption while managing risk. Her career includes enterprise leadership across Legal, Privacy, Security, Data, Engineering, and AI teams.

At AIGA, Suzanne brings that financial services background to MGAs and MGUs, companies facing AI insurability questions, and private equity and venture capital firms. She helps leadership inventory and classify AI use, set the conditions for what may proceed, and keep a clear record of what was decided, aligned to the NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 and to rules such as the EU AI Act, GDPR, and CCPA. She is also available as a fractional Chief AI Officer or governance and risk executive.

Todd Dietrich, IGP, CIPM, CIGO/AI

Co-Founder and Principal

Todd has over 25 years at the intersection of data, operations, and compliance. He turns hard data and AI governance problems into decisions leadership can act on and defend.

As a Managing Director at BDO USA, P.C., Todd co-founded the firm's Data & Information Governance Practice. His background in paralegal work and digital forensics gives him a working understanding of evidence, data integrity, and legal process, which shapes how AIGA documents every decision.

At AIGA, Todd brings that background to law firms, defense contractors, and other organizations whose AI use touches sensitive data, client obligations, or regulated information. He helps leadership inventory and classify AI use, decide what may proceed and on what conditions, and keep the evidence, aligned to the NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 and to rules such as the EU AI Act, GDPR, and CCPA. He is also available as a fractional Chief AI Officer or Chief Operating Officer.
